We are Asociación Rueda Sagrada, the Sacred Wheel Association, an officially recognized Peruvian non-profit organization and community living near Cusco, in the Sacred Valley of the Peruvian Andes. We have been living and working in this region for many years, connecting with and supporting local people and their projects, with more recent development and governmentally recognized establishment of our organization since 2013. We are a diverse and international ensemble of people, committed to living in community through the guidance of nature, supporting and developing projects with local people, honoring and expanding ancestral and indigenous traditions, and learning with others through educational programs and exchanges.
Our vision and activities are based on the Sacred Wheel, a universal archetypal structure of nature, also seen in the Chakana of the Andes and the Medicine Wheel of North America. The Sacred Wheel reveals the spiral dynamic of life, defined by a common center and a circle of inclusivity, weaving together the flow of time, the four directions, the three worlds, and the inclusion of all the elements, generations, and clans. We recognize that indigenous cultures all across the world align their ways of living to this sacred structure of nature, which defines a unique relation with each group to the particular land, time, elements, and habitats where they are located.

As such, our group has been involved in various encounters and collaborations with local people, culture and projects, international visitors, and similarly oriented organizations, in an effort to be guided by nature and her teachings in order to be of service to life during this time of heightened global interconnectedness and the expansion of the human influence on the planet.
